What will we actually do?

We've spent some time now coming up with various ideas (see the product tag on our Loomio), and I think in order to move forward, we need to figure out what we're actually going to be doing. Let's use this thread to make a decision.
I don't really have many particular parameters to use for our decision-making, but I believe we can be guided by both our interests and values here. The main constraints are:
Can the folks who are available actually work on this? (I, personally, can't work on anything that competes with MSFT products, which I know is a pretty wide net to cast)
Do we believe this can be a reasonably lucrative product? In the end, we have to do a capitalism if we want to spread its benefits around.
Can we bootstrap this without significant external investment? Co-ops are notoriously hard to get external investors for, and even if it wasn't the case, VC is out of the question for me because of its toxicity.
Please reply with any other major constraints that you think we should be applying, and otherwise, let's discuss!

Y'all probably already know I'm pretty partial to the SWer platform, because I feel like I'd be doing the most good for the world with that, but it comes with serious (non-technical) challenges. I still think the challenges are surmountable, and I believe we can find a profitable niche. Beyond that, I do like the app platform idea a lot. I like thee white-labor patronage platform, but I'm also pretty nervous about competing directly with Patreon and its massive amounts of VC money.

Only reason I put the IOT sensor above the content platform is because hardware seems much more interesting to me than working on yet another web platform.

I think the top 3 are areas I personally can see the most need for. I generally tried to place things in that order as I see it. That being said, I will happily contribute what I can to whatever the co-op decides :)

I really only care about spending personal time on actually helping people, something the industry fails to do.

I think no matter how much money we've personally earned in the industry, or can raise from connections, most anything we can do that competes with a large player is unlikely to succeed against their effectively unlimited funds and strong brand awareness. We will almost certainly run out of money before gaining traction with users. That's why I've put my proposal first: to build our own money tree from the stock market.

Partially (80%) sorted by mere personal interest and familiarity, partially (20%) by what I feel might be in demand

definitely not stock trading on algorithms. I'm personally going to do a productivity suite & CI/CD whether or not this co-op does. social good / sticking up for the little guy sounds best.

The top options seem to be what I might be the most helpful with; i am super interested in a productivity suite as a concept and kinda wanna work on it most but it does seem like a large undertaking with much competition. I have no interest in stock trading and i wasnt sure if there is huge demand for swer content platform but if we think there is im totally down to work on that im just not sure what it would look like really still.
