LOGO of JTCAM: propositions
Dear members of "EpiJournal in Mechanics" community,
We've recently fixed the name of the journal. After some discussions with the steering committee and the scientific board it was decided that the name will be
Journal of Theoretical, Computational and Applied Mechanics (JTCAM)
Now, we need to invent a logo (and in overall a style) for our journal which will
Distinguish preprint and accepted papers on the open archive
Distinguish our journal from others.
We have started to draft a logo and also a page layout. Please find in the attached file a selection of our tentative logos shown solely and also incorporated in a tentative layout. Some explanation is also provided.
Now, we would like to invite you to contribute to this artistic activity too, and propose your versions of logos, share your ideas and remarks.
Please share here your logos, ideas, comments before the 8th of December 2019.
After all this, we will assembly all the logos and open a vote for the best one.

Dear colleagues, in my opinion Vladislav continues to do a wonderful work. Thank you! Considering the current set of proposals, in my opinion, the best logos are #Y16 (with the five colours) and #Y5 (with the rotated word "journal"), not necessarily by this order. Frankly speaking the design of these new versions of logos is better than the initial versions in the form of "coat of arms" with the motto "share knowledge"; however I continue to think that the presence of the motto, in Latin or in English, would help (i) to strength our commitment in guaranteeing a (implicitly, tendentially free of charge) channel of publication and (ii) to distinguish this initiative from a commertial one. Do you think that we should make a try to conciliate the motto with some of these more modern logos? Best regards!

Just a precision: here, I assembled and shared first tentative logos made my different people.
The objective is to motivate other members of the Loomio community to suggest their ideas of logos, and comments on the existing ones...
For the moment, it was not very successful : )
Later we will open a vote for the best logo!
