October 15: Operation8 and Occupy Aotearoa Anniversaries

O15 this year is the eigth anniversary of the Operation 8 raids in 2007, and the fourth anniversary of the start of Occupy Aotearoa in 2011. Last year a group of us help a General Assembly in Parliament Grounds. How can we keep mark these dates this year, which are so significant for the nonviolent, democratic revolution in Aotearoa?

I'll be in Tamaki Makaurau on O15, so I intend to spend the day in Aotea Square. It would be great to get some folks together for a political picnic to catch up, and discuss our visions for the coming year or two. If anyone feels like doing the same elsewhere in the country, so much the better!
