Can't add options to Dot vote after voting?

Yikes! Sorry you're having problems, @lukeflegg. However I can't reproduce the problem.. I've just tested this, and have been able to create a poll, vote, add options and vote again.

The poll you created doesn't allow participants to add options. I just created a second test poll and reproduced the issue.

I can change my vote, but no longer add options. But I could add an option before I voted.

Yes - exactly Matt. I want everyone who WAS able to add options before voting to also be able to add them when changing their vote

I've been thinking for a while about a "comment only" mode for polls, so that people can have time to talk about and modify the poll before voting starts... as it's kind of crazy to vote then have the options change on you later.

I can see how it's crazy for some use cases, but for us it's not - we want to run this dot poll for months; it's part of how we're gathering more and more people around a sort of competition; which charity shall we partner with next? We want to grow our community of users on Loomio and gather more voices (but also be open to these new people's suggestions - especially since people can easily change their votes - of course it'd be better if everyone could somehow be there from the start and all the possible options were there from the first day, but that's not how this is going to happen) thus it'd be great to allow people to come back in a few weeks or even months and propose another cause Dignity could partner with.

The constant shifting of the voting is part of the excitement we're gathering as we close in slowly on the closing of the poll in summer.

I've noticed the bar-graphs being funky on a variety of fronts, so that seems like something to dig into.

Which browser are you using? (and/or mind testing in firefox too?)

OK OK OK !!!! I've changed this, so now you can add options after you've voted.. I wonder why we had it this way in the first place.. maybe there is some other crazy behaviuor we were trying to avoid.. please test :) (@lukeflegg @matthewcropp)
