Migration of Diasp.in back to our local infrastructure.
Raju Devidas Fri 15 Feb 2019 9:03AMPublicSeen by 171After a few issues with our OpenStack setup last year, we moved diasp.in server to a VPS temporarily. In our local infrastructure at Hamara, we have moved on from openStack to Dockerized infrastructure here.
We should move back from the VPS to a dockerized infra. Lets plan on doing that whenever possible.

We want an Encrypted disk for sure. may be LXC or Vagrant then?

Vagrant can work, but we will need access to its console for entering password during boot.

Are we still interested in migrating the setup back to the local infrastructure? I think this is a good idea and we should go ahead with it.

We cannot move to docker if we want to stick to debian packages. lxc could be an option as it has systemd, but if we want encrypted disk, we will need a vm. Or we can migrate to a proper docker setup.
