I have recently heard about Deep Adaptation - the idea that we are now beyond remediating climate change and the job now is to learn to adapt to the collapse that is coming: https://blog.p2pfoundation.net/deep-adaptation-a-map-for-navigating-climate-tragedy/2018/08/13 I'd like to talk about this with others who are interested and wondering if we could make a time to do that, maybe by zoom if anyone has an account? Hi Everyone @sophiejerram @michaelkimball @vincenzogiorgino @christinewamsler @undefined there hasn't been much movement on the timepoll and I'm sorry I'm not sure how to add more options, so here is another option:
Can you indicate which one you can make, and can you read the article before the meeting:
20th of November: 7am 12 Noon 7pm
21st of November: 8am 2pm 7pm
22nd of November: 8am 12 noon 7pm

Hi Patricia,
If I’ve done the math correctly (and I don’t have a good reputation for this!), I think Wednesday the 22nd at 8 am your time (which I believe will be 2 pm on the 21st US Mountain Time) is the only date/time I can join
you given my work schedule and our Thanksgiving holiday.

Hi Michael @michaelkimball I'm sorry I meant to say that my time is very flexible at the moment as I don't have defined work times but the flexibility means that things change very quickly. This has in part made it hard to find a time that works for everyone because unless people get back quite quickly and I can lock a date and time in, things can change for me. I do hope we can find a way to talk together about Deep Adaption and so start helping support each other with this issue. Kind Regards, Patricia

Hi Everyone, it's proving a bit difficult to find a time that suits everyone. I have a suggestion if this might work for you? We could read the article and make comments here as a starting point and then if there is further interest we could work towards an online meeting?
