Loomio in iframe

JS Jon Schull Public Seen by 74

Our [Enable community uses Loomio](https://www.loomio.org/g/z6anwdt7/e-nablio) as a component in a larger ecosystem. We are trying to embed this component at hub.e-NABLE.org.

I'd like to put our loomio community (or individuals thread into an iframe). Doesn't work.

Help?

Hi John, I'm not sure how to help.

Can you tell me more about the experience you want to create?

Thanks. I'd like to be able to have people see Loomio content embedded in our website at hub.e-NABLE.org. The humhub platform does support iframes as does HTML page.

Thus with many sites I can do

<iframe src="https://google.org" height=80% width=80%></iframe>

and the content is visible

But

<iframe src="https://www.loomio.org/g/z6anwdt7/e-nablio" height=80% width=80%></iframe>

fails.

And do you want to display group page or thread page in an iFrame, mostly?

I'm going to try something crazy. Here's the Loomio Community group in an iframe, in Loomio. It will behave completely differently in Loomio 2, vs Loomio1.

Seems to work well enough. When we switch to Loomio 2 as the default client it might be quite a good experience.

It might be confusing the situation, but here's what it looks like for me:

Hey Jon, I just thought of this: Try an iframe and for the src attribute, add ?use_vue=1 to the end of your url.
