Re-Launching the CTA - Proposal closes 19.08.17

I've made a proposal to re-launch the CTA over here https://www.loomio.org/p/B1aEHyc3/lets-re-launch-the-cta it's in an open group and I encourage anyone with an interest in the Open App Ecosystem to read the proposal and have your say.

The original members of this groups and the CTA group/s completed a huge amount of work on what the OAE is / should be and how to move towards it... I think we should be aiming to build on those foundations and re-invigorate this group and the rest of our collaborators :)

@olisb OK, trying to do this.... it is not saving the organization, no error message, but seems like it doesn't like the objective because it comes back blank. Can't tell why, tried something very short. Need help....

HI @lynnfoster sorry you're having trouble. The fields with asterisks are mandatory, so any left blank with cause the form to fail.

"Organisational objectives" is a taxonomy to which you can add new terms by typing then clicking on the text in the popup: "The term 'NEW' will be added". Organisational objectives can not be blank. (this may not have been working perfectly but should be now - so thanks for the feedback - please let me know if it still fails!?)

Please try to re-use existing terms where relevant / possible and only add short terms which others can reuse e.g. "Renewable energy" rather than "XYZ Solar company is trying to convert the world to solar"

@olisb OK, I possibly figured out my original problem, using Firefox with popups disabled maybe. (Although usually FF asks me if I want to enable popups on a page, didn't happen in this case.) Anyway, tried Chrome, got the popups there, got all the way through but got this: The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later. Tried with and without adding a project at the same time, same result. Not having very good luck on this.... 😕 P.S. I am on Ubuntu.

@olisb if one of the goals of the CTA is to make an international event to continue the work on a possible open app ecosystem, I'd like to be part of the creation of this event.

In my view, it would be best for this event to codesign it with every person who wants to be part of it, the best would be to have at least one person of each app in the organisation of the event. This way we model cooperation and inclusion.

What I can offer is to design methods/processes to make people's contributions as easy and fast as possible, so anyone who wants could contribute effectively.

I'm not saying that you are not in a processus of codesigning (cause it seems that you are), but I wanted to make sure. Plus, I think an event could be a really nice thing to get into work all together. So my message was more to make sure we are on the same page, and to let you know that I'm available and introduce my skills ;)
