November 2018 meetup

NS Nick S Public Seen by 181

Date: Monday November 26th
When: 6pm until ~9ish
Where: the Shrub's office at 17 Guthrie Street (map)
What: Play Coopoly (3-6 players) as Plan A, with an impromptu film as Plan B.

There's a "how to play coopoly" video here.

I'll bring some beer and wine, and there should be tea and coffee available too. There'll be a donations box to help cover the cost of these; also the Shrub have a suggested donation of £1/person/hour.

Still on GetTogether (a federated Meetup.com alternative, however my experience is it seems to be showing its unfinished status):

I expect everyone will be busy in December, so this is likely the last meetup of the year!

Ok, 13 Guthrie St booked, usual time (I'll add the details above). I'll bring the Coopoly game, and there'll be the screen as an option too.

(BTW. I thought of a video for future meetings: Douglas Rushkoff's keynote at SXSW a year or two ago, basically outlining the premise of his book "Throwing Rocks at the Google Bus", does a good job of explaining the logic of why I am interested in P2PF ideas. Will add that to the list.)
