WR Wessel Reijers Public Seen by 311

This thread can be used for reviewing the Represent.me platform. For the review, please keep the software features into account that are listed in the "Division of work" thread.

It looks UK politics centred, could not find any place where to get answers for our list of features we are looking for.

I would abandon this unless someone already knows that it is worth reviewing and where to look.

@nathalieb look here: https://represent.me/features/ ; it actually seems pretty great! Because it implements discussions, voting and - it seems - Liquid Feedback functionality! @lynx what do you think about this platform?

it is listing the usual features we are looking for, but still, it looks general, UK centred and the other pages are about UK 2017 elections. No idea about their business model and this is really the thing I don't like.
As I said, I better motivations from one of you who knows this Represent.me already.

True, that also makes me doubt this option; doesn't seem to be any good for now.

David gave us more info last night, he knows the people at the head of this, they have paused on that project and still have not released the code for others to work on.

It seems to be open-source: https://github.com/RepresentMe ; but it's not clear whether any other instances are running apart from the UK elections one.

I think the features of Represent.me are taken to the new level of collaboration, far beyond than in Loomio! Share reasons, Suggest solutions and Change your mind are nicely structured in the "Discussions".

"Understanding" section is also much more user friendly with

Census data (map the demographics of those who answered a question against a census baseline, so it can be clearly seen how representative the results are),

Explore results (where anonymized results are shared and analyses in real-time, show age and regional trends) and

Rich insights (having values in one place means that you can show your correlations between questions).
