Contributing to Loomio
How can I start contributing to Loomio?
I want to start with some small bugs or features which makes me comfortable with the code. Any help is appreciated.
Yup I read it but I want to start on some feature development or bug fixes.
Hi @tarunsai jujjuru we don't get open source code contributions very often. Infact I cannot remember the last time anyone outside of the core team contributed a helpful commit.
We're open source & GPL but that has not lead to community development, so our development model does not currently have many ready opportunities.
The Loomio 2.0 development effort is my best (so far) attempt to make our process open.
That said, I'm delighted that you would like to contribute, would you like to have a video call and discuss things?
Hi @tarunsai jujjuru would you like to try building a Franz integration? Sounds like something that could have a good amount of value for an introductory job.
