Should we create an official QGIS blog

Proposal is to host it on Wordpress.com but with domain of http://blog.qgis.org at a cost of USD 13 per year. We would add the blog to the QGIS planet feed too.

@anitagraser Sorry no I don't know who it is. I think we should just make blog.qgis.org and not worry about the WP subdomains.

In that case, our workpress.com account could be qgisblog.wordpress.com which I registered and we set up blog.qgis.org domain to link there.

Or do we want (to try) to enforce our trademark as Richard suggested?

Sounds perfect.

I dont think there is much value in trying to enforce our trademark unless people are really misrepresenting our project - we will just look like bullies.

If settled I'll add it the planet feed so it will show up on the frontpage
