A call with Ahsan Ali Thakur, a youth coordinator for International Cooperative Alliance Asia-Pacific

Leo Sammallahti PublicSeen by 38

I had a call with Ahsan Ali Thakur where I presented Social Coop and told we would love to get more people outside Europe-North America. He would be interested in getting social coop involved with GoGreen campaign, where cooperativists around the world are planting trees and raising awareness about environmental issues.

He would like to get the ball rolling asap. I will attach a poll to schedule the call in this thread in the next few minutes.

He is the youth coordinator for International Alliance Asia Pacific branch. He would like to get social coop involved with the ICAs Go Green campaign, where cooperativists plant trees.

Thanks for bringing this to the group! Great idea.

Yeah, I came across him when he set up a brilliant webinar for ICA. IIRC it had around 40 participants, and all over the world - it looked like UN general assembly, great stuff.

He will organise another webinar where WeCo and Social Coop will presented to the same audience. We don't know when yet, but would be great if @emido could make a presentation about Social Coop in the webinar, as she is already doing a similar presentation in Australia next month.

@matthewcropp Yes unfortunately 11 AM-2PM Pakistan time were most suitable for him. Would be great if someone from social coop could participate though, maybe I could record the meeting and then post it here so others could watch?
