Dear members of the Loomio Community,

We are grateful to all of you for your votes and your comments. In total, 48 people voted and distributed 133 votes over 28 logos and one « no logo » option. The winner of the vote is the Logo 11 (see below), which gathered 24 votes in different color schemes, which corresponds to approximately 18% of your votes. However, there’s a small problem with this logo: when it’s small it suffers from Moiré effect… Nevertheless, we will proceed with this selected logo, which we hope to render even more attractive with the help of real designers, and will also get rid of this Moiré effect. We will keep you updated about our progress.

Detailed results of the vote can be found here:

Some updates about our progress on technical questions.

1. We shared through all our networks and colleagues the call for handling editors positions, we have already received 14 applications. It would be great if you could share this call as largely as possible through your networks too. We have received a lot of positive and enthusiastic feedback from our colleagues all over the world.

2. We have been working on the LaTeX class for JTCAM, it is almost done and very soon we will share it with you. There are few requests about the possibility to submit MS Word/OpenOffice manuscripts, we are thinking about it too.

3. We also work on the web-site and testing it both from authors' and editors' roles, in parallel we interact with people from episciences.org platform on various questions related to the publication process, referencing, web-site, etc.

4. For the logo, we will try to make it more professional with the help of real designers.

Thank you for your support!
