"Monday, July 27, 2020, several progressive Filipino organizations and allies in the DC metropolitan area are joining to protest Duterte’s State of the Nation Address and hold our own People’s State of the Nation Address (PSONA). We will be uniting with protests in the Philippines and around the world in condemning Duterte’s anti-people policies and his outright violation of basic human rights. This day of protest will begin at Howard University Hospital and then a march and car caravan towards the Philippine Embassy, where we will hold with a speak-out rally outside."
