I extended the deadline on this a little because I know @dazzagreenwood1 has some great ideas about a bit more of a framework we could put in place before inviting a lot more people in. His comments below:

Here are some ideas on what we could be focused on and consequently how it could be focused/set up:

  1. substance: ideas for how an API-oriented framework for discussion and decision apps/services could be composed and fit together and what it could achieve (and why)

  2. process: what would be appropriate next steps toward, eg, gathering teams that have such apps/services to join the discussion, throwing out ideas for initial API like integrations and perhaps directories or repositories of participating apps/services, and/or framing the next segment of this topic on a sept/oct eCitizenSalon to further the idea (who would be invited, what would we discuss and/or demo, how could the broadcast be used to advance the idea, etc).

Also - I'd like to just go ahead and suggest something with the domain names, so that we can spend more time a) talking about the substance and process on it's merits and perhaps just confirm or modify use of the domain names depending on how the merits unfold and b) as a way to offer a vision on how the merits could look so as to catalyze the creative brainstorming phase"
