Who should be involved?

Let’s think about people and groups/orgs that would be great to have in the conversation, and how to involve them.

In fact, the internet tells me that Charlie is defending his thesis at MIT Media Lab in about a week - on "Online tools for non-hierarchical, consensus-oriented decision making".
This couldn't be much more perfect :)

Would love to hear what Dazza and Jim think about the scope of participation

Would be great to have Charlie participate and perhaps share his thesis. Could serve as a framework for this effort...

Great idea @jameselste , I'll invite Charlie in! Do you have colleagues that you think might be interested in participating too?

Would be great to hear @dazzagreenwood1's thoughts on this too

That we all start inviting people in Closed Tue 6 Aug 2013 12:27PM
I'm just wanting to check that people (esp Dazza and Jim) are happy with the basic framework before we invite a larger number of people in. What do people think?
I really should have gotten agreement on this before starting, but better late than never :)

I think we're good to go, but keen to hear what others think :)

I'm keen for really broadband multidisciplinary input, so long as it is held within a clear framework.

The more, the merrier. Framework will evolve with more participants...

I'd love to invite some people from the Loomio Community - one person that jumps to my mind is Charlie DeTar, who I believe is studying at MIT - maybe even in the Media Lab? I think this would be right up his alley.
On the less technical side of things, I'd love to bring in people like Michel Bauwens from P2P Foundation and Douglas Rushkoff (writer/media theorist). Both have been really supportive of Loomio, and I think would be excited by this project in particular.
