Business plan idea - Resort/Retreat

This is a very general idea that we can work with for our business plan if it is chosen.
This idea starts as a resort or retreat center and the very basic stay would be similar to a bed and breakfast. However our guests would then have the option to add on classes, workshops, and buy goods while there.
Here is an example of the extras I would like to see offered but of course we can edit this list as much as needed if this idea is chosen.
Yoga classes - including a hot room for Bikram
Tai chi and qigong classes
Craft classes - including jewelry, wood crafts, henna, and art classes
Reiki healing sessions
Workshops and conferences - basically booking guest speakers, writers, performers, psychics, etc that people want to come see
Guided meditations
Cooking classes
Learning about permaculture hands on
Guided camping trips - including foraging learning and survival skills?
Massages
Store - including food items like jams and hand crafted items made by the community (we can also sell these online and at local farmers markets to supplement income)

Might I suggest a zoo and/or animal conservation. For food reasons for residents & visitors. But also slightly more exotic, reptiles, or birds if anyone has them already. I for one keep tortoises that I find crossing the road and other harmless reptiles that are not native to an area.
All the reasons above would encourage visitation especially with everyone's varying expertise and experiences. Good thing is it will attract the right people. Perhaps whoever fits the role the best, but maybe have shamanic services available. Not sure if that should be a selling point though... Just thoughts. I love the idea of having all these amazing things though.

Animal refuge perhaps? Animals can take up quite a lot of land and resources. I do like the idea but it may depend on the type and how much land we can secure.

Ah, I enjoy the idea of animal refuge... but this idea of a zoo/conversation for food purposes makes me a bit queezy. However, I understand we need to meet the needs of all community members...

I Like it...and as I stated in another discussion in Loomio. I would Like to lead a science tent for up and coming engineers/scientists. Complete with solar and give them a small taste of the future of sustainability. What do you all think?

This seems like a good idea for one of the geographical locations that was discussed. I think it's important to consider the needs of the surrounding area or likelihood of success for business. When someone says resort, I think California or Florida. :)
