This is essentially a necessary step for any meaningful analysis for the DHBs if we will use population data. In some cases, we do have the population data at DHB level which Stats NZ/MoH provide; for part of the DHB (e.g. a locality analysis of West Rodney), we will have to aggregate area unit level population data.
