Information Party
I am proposing that we change our name to the Information Party,
I suggest that this change would
1 register that we are under new management
2 more accurately describe what we are about
3 is an evolution from internet party not a repudiation of it
That the party name be changed to the Information Party

This proposal was not endorsed , there was a strong feeling that we should stop messing about with the name and instead present what we stand for through our actions

The Internet is about information so its logical to change to that name and on top of it we retain IP

Sounds good. Let's use information to optimise the system.
Unless: Original branding is good if we decide to form mergers and partnerships with other minor parties.

We formed a new party & spent vast amounts of time & energy establishing it on the national scene, using a word everyone knows & likes. Now we are asked to chuck all that out & start again with a woolly word. For no good reason. Flip-flopping.

Our core should remain. As with InternetMana I'm happy to us to create mergers or rebrand, but not just because.

I am not convinced. Don't see the point. It is what we do that matters.

As others have said; not convinced nor see the point.

No point - lets stop following in the lead of National and Labour party picking silly inane subjects. No faster way to erode the credibility of our stance than by picking penny-ante nonsense issues.
