CB26 Membership AP (dates, pricing, etc)

This Advice Process (AP) will run until the start of February. It is intended for anyone to share their thoughts / suggestions / questions in order to try and reach decisions about this topic communally.

Following a call on 29/12, it is proposed that we hold the membership sale for CB26 in February. A reminder that this year's burn is to take place between 20-27 July in Muncaster, Cumbria.

The new site is considerably cheaper to rent than the old one, although unlike before there will be other costs. It was suggested by some people on the call that we keep the base membership cost at approximately the same price as last year (approx £100 + a voluntary dreams contribution of your choice).

This is an estimate - the exact ticket price is to be determined by some of us identifying approximate costings and what needs funding. But we are painfully short on heads for that task. If you can help with this, even for ten minutes, PLEASE get in touch.

Low income memberships will also be available, and these might cost approx £50 (exact price also TBC.)

The sale will be linked to directly on celticburn.org, and consist of an online form plus a direct bank transfer. There will be no additional technical barriers to participation such as requiring an account on any online service (except maybe an email!)

Following conclusion of this AP, the date of the sale will be announced ahead of time by email, on the website, and by whatsapp and telegram. This will happen upon conclusion of this AP. The event dates have already been announced on all the above channels.

Some volunteers will also be sought for the membership sale (as well as general comms throughout the year). Let us know if you're interested.
