This is an RBG LED rigged to an ultrasonic sensor.
The link below provides a code and layout of circuit.
Also the code only uses red, green, blue so if you would like to play around with the code and add mixed colours then you would have to change the following parts of this code like this;

The LOW means that the colour is off. The HIGH means the colour is on. The delay changes the speed to which the colours change. So you can add another else code turning, for example the blue and red on HIGH and green on LOW so the colour will be purple and etc. The two codes below has RED on when your between 5-20cm and then the next one has BLUE on when your between 20-80 cm.

You can also change the distance by altering the numbers in this part (Distcance is greater than 0 and less than 20cm)

The gaming group will have a selection of participatory activities, each set to spark conversation around the production and effects of gaming. A chance to explore augmented reality gaming scenarios, virtual reality spaces, and a discussion around posing as your own avatar. Gaming and dance music have been blended by music producers to explore how music effects the player. Experience, become immersed and discuss gaming.

Could you all please either add your best pictures taken over the past month/s of your work/groups in progress, any snapshots taken with a phone, and pictures of the final product.

Either email to c.follows@arts.ac.uk or add the images to the O365 shared folder link below (need to be using your ual login).

All images should be sent no later than Wednesday morning as we plan to do some social media promotions asap.

We will also be using these images to post of Instagram take over of Camberwell, Wimbledon and Chelsea account before (to show what we have been doing) During (showcase the evening) After (to promote the Tate March events).

Info for Tate Lates Project:

1. The movement and processing of data is an event that takes place simultaneously to your day to day life. It passes by unnoticed. The data can present information or command technology. There are instances where virtual data extends to physical spaces.

In this project, we present the process and production of physical computing. Inspired by the arcade game structure, our light display made of RGB LED bricks, change colour depending on the different levels of interaction. The participator will gain an understanding of the complexities of technological production.

Hi. It would be good to learn some coding before we make any decisions for the bigger panel. It's easier to use as it requires less voltage (5v) and only three cables for data pin, ground pin and power pin. I would only recommend to buy one as it's quite pricey. We have got a bigger panel to make so keep that into consideration
