has been finalised. But I think we are taking too long to decide upon a name. If the majority disagree to use the name most popular on the IC Facebook poll, I propose that we start a new poll in our Volunteer Facebook group and use the most popular name on that poll, after the poll has been active for a week.
If the aforementioned proposal is agreed upon, this proposal will become invalid.

@Oliver, that's a third proposal.
If my first proposal is agreed upon, we will go with the name of the poll that was ranked most popular amongst the IC and have our name decided before the IC meeting on Friday.
If that proposal is not agreed upon but this one is, we will go with the name that is decided upon by all of our staff. I'm not sure what that is at the moment but the poll still has 5 days before it's one week old.
If both my proposals are disagreed upon, we still wont have a name and possibly two names suggested by the polls.
I would support the proposal that we have a third and final poll using just the number one from each poll, whether it be presented to all our staff or the whole universe.

@lbjoum the proposal it what it is. It's not a proposal to pay you anything. If you created a proposal that everyone should pay you a million dollars and everyone agreed on it, I would expect everyone that voted to pay you a million dollars. That is not written into this proposal though. It's a simple proposal that is what it states it is, just like every other proposal on Loomio. It's a method to democratically come to decisions. The proposals are suggestions and they lead to decisions. Which is exactly what we need right now.

Just because a person posts a proposal on loomio does not make it the process we will follow. That is dictating.

The newly produced poll is in a group that only our staff on Facebook can see. Currently 21 people. So it's less than the 26 people on Loomio that were informed that we are conducting a poll. I'm not sure who the extra 5 people on Loomio are. Whoever they are, I doubt they are following Loomio closely enough to know that they are being left out.
