I don’t doubt service people had varied reasons to serve - theres bound to be many that got “suckered into it” - certainly the narratives at the time didn’t leave many with a choice. How do we respond to their choices?

The Crusades is a typical example of how the Christian World were suckered by the ancient Jewish "Promise Land Project" simply by publishing that Bethleham, the birth place of Jesus, had been over run by Muslims when they had be there for centries.

They didn't pave the way for us, they paved the way for a banker-dominated world. They got suckered into it: just as you have been suckered into believing in Parliamentary Capitalism.
